NON SURGICAL TREATMENTS

MESOTHERAPY

Quick and easy, Mesotherapy is as effective, or more effective than tablets in hair rejuvenation and restoration. Using a wide range of nutritious vitamins, amino acids and vasodilators, injections are administered directly into the scalp to stimulate blood circulation, boost vitamins and minerals and allowing the hair follicles to rejuvenate.

To ensure none of your hair follicles are damaged, our specialist doctor will tailor his technique to your condition and administer Mesotherapy manually instead of an automated injection device.

How often:

Intensive Course: 6 x every 2-4 weeks by injection

Maintenance: 1 x Every 2-3 months by injection

PRP

PRP treatment is the most natural way to stimulate hair growth as its prepared from an extract of your own blood. Your blood sample is processed so that only the enriched cells (platelet-rich plasma) remain, before they’re injected into the scalp.

Our specialist can assess whether PRP treatment is the best solution for you. This treatment encourages the growth of existing hair follicles, making your hair appear fuller and healthier without resorting to surgery.

How often:

3 x Every 6 weeks by injection

FINASTERIDE

Finasteride (Propecia) is a prescription only medication taken to reverse the effects of male pattern baldness. Taken as one pill each day, it slows the breakdown of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). With the DHT blocked, hair can grow normally while the follicles remain unaffected.

The London Hair Loss Clinic will undertake a microscopic examination of your hair and scalp, combined with a medical history check to determine the most suitable medication for you.

How often:

1 x Every day by mouth

MINOXIDIL

Minoxidil is a topically-applied hair loss treatment that can be applied once or twice a day depending on the formulation prescribed. Applied daily, directly to the scalp, it revives shrunken hair follicles – they increase in size and regrow thicker hair over time.

It has been proven to be most effective in the early stages of hair loss. Our surgeon can talk you through the pros and cons of using Minoxidil and advise on the routines to keep your scalp and follicles healthy.

How often:

 1 x Every day topically

STEROID INJECTIONS

Steroid injections, the most common form of treatment for alopecia areata involves having a number of injections which deliver a corticosteroid solution directly into bald patches. They aim to first prevent the immune system from attacking hair follicles, then trigger hair regrowth. They tend to work best in those who have small patches of hair loss.

Each case of hair loss is unique and understand your goals are personal to you. We can help you understand your individual case of hair loss and walk you through your options.

How often:

Tbc by doctor by injection

EYELASHES

The London Hair Loss Clinic eyelash enhancement treatment acts to stimulate the hair follicle to grow. The product mimics a group of compounds, called prostamides, which naturally occur in the body. It’s considerably easier and quicker than applying mascara or attempting to stick on false eyelashes.

If you’re considering male eyelash enhancement, book a consultation with our specialist and find out how we can help.
